Saudi Ballooning Federation Concludes Hosting of FAI Ballooning Commission Annual Meeting in AlUla

The Saudi Ballooning Federation concluded the annual meeting of the FAI Ballooning Commission (CIA), held in AlUla Governorate with the participation of more than 50 international representatives and experts from 24 countries.

 The event featured a series of specialized technical and organizational meetings and sessions, along with a cultural and social program that showcased AlUla’s rich heritage and diverse tourism, cultural, and natural assets, reflecting AlUla’s status as a global destination for international events, aviation experiences, and aerial adventures.

 The federation said hosting the international event is part of its efforts to strengthen the Kingdom’s presence in air sports in general and ballooning in particular, and to showcase the Kingdom’s organizational and logistical capabilities in hosting specialized events according to the highest international standards.

 The hosting drew wide praise from participants, who commended the Kingdom’s qualified national talent and advanced organizational and logistical capabilities, which contributed to the meeting's success. They also noted AlUla’s unique heritage, tourism, and natural assets, as well as its exceptional panoramic views that enable visitors to explore its diverse landmarks.
