SATORP Honors Alfanar Engineering Services for Its Contribution to One of the Region’s Largest Preventive Maintenance Projects
Saudi Aramco Total Refining and Petrochemical Company (SATORP) recognized Alfanar Engineering Services with a token of appreciation for its technical and operational contributions to one of the largest preventive maintenance projects in SATORP's history and across the region.
The recognition took place during an official ceremony held in Jubail Industrial City, attended by SATORP’s Management, reflecting the high level of partnership and collaboration among various teams in delivering major operational projects within the energy sector. The recognition was presented by Mr. Mohammad A. Al Hatlani, President and CEO of SATORP, to Eng. Sattam Al Motairi, Chief Operations Officer of Alfanar Engineering Services, in appreciation of the role played by Alfanar's teams during the shutdown period and their demonstrated professionalism and operational discipline.
Mr. Mohammad A. Al Hatlani, SATORP’s President and CEO, stated during the recognition: “What we achieved during the turnaround reflects true excellence in action, driven by unity, focus, and disciplined execution. By seamlessly integrating a full facility turnaround with our expansion project, we have set a new industry benchmark and reinforced SATORP’s position as a world class complex and a proud national contributor to the global energy landscape.”
During the maintenance period, Alfanar Engineering Services, through its Technical Services hub in Jubail, supported by specialized field teams and fully equipped workshop facilities, carried out preventive maintenance activities and enhanced the reliability of electrical equipment across multiple areas. The scope of work included servicing electric motors, performing advanced field and workshop operations, and conducting specialized inspection and maintenance for the main high-voltage substation. These efforts were delivered with high efficiency and coordination alongside SATORP and partners’ teams, ensuring completion within the scheduled timeline while maintaining full compliance with the highest safety and quality standards.
Eng. Sattam Al Motairi, Chief Operations Officer of Alfanar Engineering Services, stated that the achievement speaks of the dedication, professionalism, and strong teamwork that define the company’s workforce. He emphasized that the success of the maintenance activities was driven by meticulous planning, disciplined execution, and a deeply embedded safety culture that remains a top priority at every stage of operations.
He added that the award further strengthens Alfanar Engineering Services’ position as a trusted partner in delivering large, complex operational projects, underscoring its ability to support critical industrial initiatives and to contribute to improved asset reliability and sustainable performance across the Kingdom’s energy and industrial sectors.
