Accounting Excellence Forum 2026 Kicks Off in Riyadh

The Accounting Excellence Forum 2026 opened yesterday in Riyadh under the patronage of Minister of Commerce and Board Chairman of the Saudi Organization for Chartered and Professional Accountants (SOCPA) Majid Al-Kassabi.

 The forum, running from May 12 to 14, is organized by SOCPA in strategic partnership with Saudi Aramco, with the participation of local and international experts and professionals.

 The first day featured the signing of a cooperation agreement between SOCPA and the General Authority for Awqaf to support the endowment sector in accounting and financial matters, alongside the announcement of the winners of the 2026 A4S International Case Competition, held in partnership with the Institute of Management Accountants.

 The forum will continue over the next two days with panel discussions and specialized workshops exploring the future of the accounting profession and ways to advance its professional practices.
