Grand Mosque Imam Visits Islamic Community of Kosova Headquarters

Imam of the Grand Mosque and member of the Council of Senior Scholars Sheikh Dr. Bandar Balila visited the headquarters of the Islamic Community of Kosova in Pristina on Friday, where he was received by Kosova Mufti and Head of the Islamic Community Sheikh Naim Trnava.

 Welcoming Sheikh Balila, Sheikh Trnava expressed appreciation for Saudi Arabia’s consistent support for Kosova over the years, as well as its ongoing backing of the Islamic Community of Kosova’s efforts in religious outreach and advocacy. He noted that such support reflects the Kingdom’s dedication to fostering dialogue, promoting moderation, and strengthening intercultural communication. He also commended the accompanying cultural and religious events, including the Jusoor Exhibition and the International Quran Competition.

 For his part, Sheikh Balila expressed his pleasure in visiting Kosova and reaffirmed the Kingdom’s commitment to conveying the message of Islam in its true form. He emphasized that Saudi Arabia is dedicated to reinforcing the values that unite Muslim communities worldwide, and that the outreach efforts of the two holy mosques aim to promote peace, coexistence, and the service of Islam across the globe.

 The visit is part of a series of official delegations by the imams of the two holy mosques, organized by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance.
