Municipalities Ministry Deploys 28 Municipal Service Centers Across Holy Sites to Serve Pilgrims

The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing, represented by the Holy Makkah Municipality, has prepared 28 municipal service centers in the holy sites during the 1447 AH Hajj season to serve as field points closer to high-density locations and enhance operational monitoring and response capabilities in Mina, Muzdalifah, and Arafat.

The centers operate around the clock to oversee municipal services through field teams responsible for supervising cleaning and environmental sanitation work, monitoring markets and vendors, identifying and addressing observations, and coordinating directly with relevant departments and entities to ensure uninterrupted and efficient service during peak periods.

The municipality supported these centers with human resources, field leadership teams, and the required operational equipment to function as a practical extension of the Hajj operational plan, serving as daily monitoring points for implementation quality and rapid response to field developments.

These centers aim to bring municipal services closer to pilgrims and translate field monitoring into tangible improvements in cleanliness, safety, and operational flow, contributing to a well-organized and secure environment for pilgrims in the holy sites.
