National Center for Falcons Holds Workshops on Regulations and Licensing
As part of the activities of the International Falcon Breeders Auction 2026, the National Center for Falcons is organizing two awareness workshops, one on laws and regulations and another on licensing falcon breeding centers in the Kingdom, in cooperation with the Saudi Arabian Anti-Doping Committee and the National Center for Wildlife (NCW).
The two workshops are part of the National Center for Falcons’ efforts to raise awareness of the laws and regulations governing falconry and promote regulatory awareness among falconers and specialists in the field.
The laws and regulations workshop will be held tomorrow, Friday, and aims to introduce regulations and practices for combating doping and prohibited substances in falconry competitions, raise awareness of relevant regulations, and promote compliance with applicable rules and sound practices.
A second workshop on licensing falcon breeding centers in the Kingdom will be held on August 23. It will introduce licensing procedures and the requirements for establishing and licensing falcon breeding centers in the Kingdom, and clarify the relevant roles and responsibilities.
The workshops provide participants with an opportunity to learn about applicable regulatory requirements and procedures, raise inquiries, and discuss topics related to the two workshops, contributing to enhanced regulatory compliance, the adoption of best practices, and the development of the falconry sector, in coordination with relevant authorities.
The initiative reflects the National Center for Falcons’ commitment to continuing its awareness and educational programs and enhancing knowledge of regulations and procedures among falconers, investors, and those interested in the field, supporting the sustainability and development of the falconry sector in the Kingdom.
