KSrelief Facilitates Repatriation of 160 Somali Refugees from Yemen in Cooperation with UNHCR

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) facilitated the repatriation of 160 Somali refugees residing in Yemen on Thursday, operating a flight departing from Aden International Airport.

The operation was conducted in partnership with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) as part of an initiative providing protection and humanitarian assistance to refugees and displaced populations.

This flight follows two previous humanitarian flights organized by KSrelief in August, bringing the total number of Somali refugees repatriated under the project to 469.

The operation forms part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's continuous humanitarian relief framework in Yemen, carried out through its humanitarian arm, KSrelief, to support distressed communities, alleviate the hardships of vulnerable displaced persons, and ensure safe, dignified, and voluntary returns.
