Islamic Affairs Ministry Enhances Awareness Services for Pilgrims at Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport

The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, represented by its branch in Madinah Region, continues to provide awareness and guidance services to pilgrims arriving through Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport, through dedicated awareness points in Arrival Halls (1) and (5), as part of its ongoing efforts to serve visitors and Umrah performers and guide them to perform their rituals in accordance with the Prophet’s Sunnah.
The services include distributing a range of guidance booklets and brochures in several international languages, including Arabic, Urdu, Pashto, English, Indonesian, Russian, and Persian, to meet the needs of pilgrims from different nationalities and facilitate access to authentic religious information. The distributed publications include A Brief Guide to the Description of Hajj, Umrah and Visit, and the pilgrim and Umrah performer’s guide, as well as brochures explaining the rites of Umrah and selected supplications, all of which contribute to raising visitors’ awareness of the rulings and etiquettes of the rituals in a simple and accessible manner.
The ministry has also provided beneficiaries with a QR code for the Islamic Electronic Library, enabling access to a wide range of reliable books and scholarly materials in multiple languages, thereby enhancing continuous benefit from digital religious content.
These efforts fall within the framework of the ministry’s comprehensive awareness programs implemented at entry points and locations witnessing high volumes of pilgrims, affirming its mission to promote moderation and provide high-quality awareness services that help facilitate the performance of rituals with ease and tranquility.
