Taif Governor Launches Taif Welcomes Pilgrims Initiative at Taif Airport, Miqat Points

Taif Governor Prince Fawaz bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz launched today the Taif Welcomes Pilgrims volunteer initiative, implemented by Taif Municipality with the participation of government entities, the non-profit sector, and volunteers, as part of efforts to serve pilgrims during the 1447 AH Hajj season, at Taif International Airport, the Qarn Al-Manazil Miqat in Al-Sail Al-Kabir, the Wadi Muharram Miqat in Al-Hada, and the Al-Bahita security screening center.

 The municipality prepared a camp to receive pilgrims at Al-Sail Al-Kabir miqat point, supported by a specialized team to provide support services and coordinate with relevant entities, facilitating pilgrims' journey to the holy sites.

 The initiative includes distributing more than 3,000 gifts at the two miqat points, with the participation of more than 100 municipality employees and more than 2,000 volunteers to receive pilgrims and provide awareness and humanitarian services.

 He affirmed that the municipality and its partners are working to provide the best services to pilgrims and reflect the Kingdom's civilizational image in serving them, commending the support of the Taif governor and the efforts of volunteers and participating entities in line with the wise leadership's care for pilgrims.
