Rabiah Kidana Enhances Hajj Pilgrim Accommodation Quality in Mina

The Rabiah Kidana project marks a new step in developing pilgrim accommodation in Mina by offering a modern lodging model to improve comfort and make more efficient use of space within the holy sites.

The project was implemented by Kidana Development Company, the executive arm of the Royal Commission for Makkah City and Holy Sites, in cooperation with the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah and Ithraa Hospitality Holding. It aims to provide an advanced residential environment that ensures privacy and comfort while supporting operational readiness during the Hajj season.

The development includes eight modern two-story buildings spanning more than 33,000 square meters. The first phase included the completion of three buildings, with 37% of the project becoming operational during the 1446 AH Hajj season. The second phase has now been fully completed, allowing the entire project to become operational during the 1447 AH Hajj season.

The project is expected to improve crowd movement and support the safe and organized transportation of pilgrims within the holy sites in line with the highest safety standards. It also strengthens infrastructure through modern urban solutions designed to accommodate the growing number of pilgrims and enhance the accommodation experience in Mina.

The initiative is part of Kidana’s efforts to develop accommodation and infrastructure projects across the holy sites, helping enhance services for pilgrims while supporting quality-of-life and sustainability goals.
