Unified Security Operations Center (911) in Eastern Region Is Third of Its Kind in Saudi Arabia

The Unified Security Operations Center (911) in the Eastern Region is the third of its kind in Saudi Arabia, following the centers in the Makkah and Riyadh regions.

It aims to enhance quality of life through an integrated communications system that ensures rapid responses to all emergencies. The center operates under a unified framework that promotes coordination among security and service agencies.

The Unified Security Operations Center (911) in the Eastern Region serves 12 governorates, in addition to the city of Dammam. It brings together 29 operations rooms under one roof, operating through a single emergency number, 911.

The center is responsible for receiving all calls and emergency reports related to several security agencies. These include Public Security (the General Department of Traffic, the Special Forces for Road Security, Security Patrols, and the Police), the General Directorate of Civil Defense, and the General Administration of Mujahideen. Other agencies include the Special Forces for Environmental Security, the Facilities Security Forces, the General Directorate of Narcotics Control, and the High Commission for Industrial Security (HCIS).

The center also includes several partner entities, including the Ministry of Transport and Logistic Services, the Ministry of Health, and the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing (Eastern Region Municipality). Other partners include the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, the Saudi Red Crescent Authority, Saudi Energy, and the National Water Company.
