King Faisal University Advances in the UI GreenMetric World University Rankings 2026

 King Faisal University (KFU) continues to advance its position in global sustainability indicators, ranking 129th worldwide and 2nd among Saudi universities in the UI GreenMetric World University Rankings 2026, out of 2,016 universities and higher education institutions worldwide.
 Head of KFU's Office of Sustainability and Global Excellence Dr. Norah Sadun Alsadun noted that this progress reflects the university's continued development and governance of its institutional sustainability framework.
 She added that coordinated efforts across the university to develop infrastructure, improve resource efficiency, and align education, research, innovation, and technology with sustainability priorities have contributed to KFU's sustained upward trajectory. The university advanced from 270th globally in 2023 to 129th in 2026, further strengthening its competitiveness and international standing.
 The UI GreenMetric provides a global benchmark for university sustainability and green campus performance, aligning with the ambition of Saudi Vision 2030 to advance sustainability and promote environmental quality and well-being.
