Imam Turki bin Abdullah Royal Reserve Joins UNESCO’s MAB Program

The Imam Turki bin Abdullah Royal Nature Reserve Development Authority has officially joined UNESCO's Man and the Biosphere (MAB) Program, becoming the first Saudi royal reserve to receive this prestigious international recognition.
 This achievement reflects the Kingdom's commitment to protecting its natural environments and strengthening its global role in biodiversity conservation and sustainable development, in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030.
 Minister of State, Cabinet Member, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the authority Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz stated that this recognition is not only an environmental achievement but also a global testament to the Kingdom's leadership. He emphasized that the reserve presents an exceptional national model for managing royal reserves, combining the site's authenticity with innovative conservation methods and reinforcing the concept of sustainable development.
