NCVC Launches 142 Environmental Investment Opportunities
The National Center for Vegetation Cover Development and Combating Desertification (NCVC), in cooperation with the Federation of Saudi Chambers, has announced 142 sustainable investment opportunities across the Kingdom. Covering an area exceeding 60 million square meters, this initiative aims to strengthen private sector partnerships, enable high-quality investments, and support the environmental sustainability goals of the Saudi Green Initiative and Saudi Vision 2030.
The expected investment volume for these opportunities exceeds SAR700 million, with projected returns of up to 16% and an internal rate of return of 17%. The initiative is anticipated to contribute over SAR2 billion to the GDP and create 7,000 jobs, significantly boosting local development and the national economy.
Designed as an integrated cooperation model between the public and private sectors, the package offers investment periods ranging from five to 25 years. Investors can develop sustainable projects such as camping, caravans, events, ecotourism, and agritourism.
NCVC continues to offer both long-term and seasonal opportunities to enhance afforestation efforts, develop natural resources, and invite entrepreneurs to participate in projects that balance economic returns with environmental preservation.
