Traditional Clothing, Folk Music Offer a Window into Sudanese Culture at 'Global Harmony 2' Initiative
The “Global Harmony 2” initiative, organized by the Ministry of Media in cooperation with the General Entertainment Authority and the Quality of Life Program, continued to shine a spotlight on Sudanese culture amid strong attendance at Al-Suwaidi Park, one of Riyadh Season's zones.
The vibrant colors and handcrafted embroidery of traditional Sudanese clothing drew visitors’ attention, while the event's pavilions showcased various garments reflecting the diversity of Sudanese environments and the richness of its cultural heritage. These elements added an interactive atmosphere to the folk performances and traditional rhythms, presenting the artistic features of Sudanese culture in an engaging manner.
Through the participating pavilions, visitors were introduced to several elements of Sudanese heritage, including folk arts, traditional crafts, and aspects of daily life, in addition to folkloric shows presented by performers who embodied a wide cultural legacy reflecting the depth of Sudanese identity.
The event’s main stage continued to present musical performances featuring Sudanese artists, who delivered a selection of traditional and popular songs in a festive atmosphere highlighting the diversity of Sudanese music.
The activities will continue tomorrow with a varied program that includes cultural and musical performances, celebratory parades, and displays of unique products and handicrafts reflecting the depth of Sudanese culture and the diversity of its civilizational heritage.
